Responsible design
At POINT, we understand that outdoor design goes beyond simply creating furniture that complements the architecture and landscape. It also involves taking responsibility for preserving the environments that inspire them. Sustainability is part of how we work—from selecting materials and optimizing packaging to seeking out initiatives that help reduce our environmental impact. Because creating spaces to enjoy the outdoors also means caring for the world that makes them possible.
CleanHub & POINT: A partnership that protects the future
As part of this commitment, since 2023 we have been collaborating with CleanHub, a company specializing in the recovery and management of plastic waste in particularly vulnerable coastal communities. Its model combines technology, traceability, and local action to prevent plastics from reaching rivers and oceans, where they have an irreversible impact on ecosystems.
Through a collection network and a verified tracking system, CleanHub ensures that every kilogram of recovered plastic can be tracked from collection through responsible processing. In addition to protecting the environment, this model promotes the creation of decent jobs and strengthens waste management infrastructure in regions where it remains inadequate.
At POINT, we contribute to this initiative by offsetting the unavoidable use of plastics. Thanks to this collaboration, we remove more than 2,000 kg of plastic annually from the seas and coastlines of Asia—a figure we continue to increase each year as a reflection of our ever-evolving commitment.
Designing with the horizon in mind
Our philosophy is simple: to protect each piece while also protecting what gives meaning to our work. That’s why we prioritize the use of cardboard in our packaging and support projects that promote a more circular economy and a future with less waste.
Our partnership with CleanHub is a tangible way to turn our values into action. Because at POINT, we believe that true design endures when it also helps preserve the landscapes, marine ecosystems, and natural environment that have inspired each of our collections for over a century.
