The Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities has awarded us the 2019 National Design Award in the Business category. This award is given to companies like ours that incorporate design into their business strategy, helping to improve the quality of life of society and individuals alike.
According to the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, the jury valued in our company:
“its continued and sustainable bottom-up development, with a heavily internationalization-oriented business strategy that has helped expand and consolidate the ecosystem of design and give it visibility. With a philosophy of responsible consumption and a desire to reduce environmental impact, its commitment to linking craftsmanship and tradition with design and innovation stands out, while it remains loyal to natural materials”.
These words from the jury value and reinforce our entire history and recognize the pillars that sustain this company:
design, innovation, sustainability and craftsmanship. As you know,
in 2020 we are celebrating 100 years of history and business growth, a path that we have travelled throughout four generations of the Pons family, with the help of all of you who accompany us day by day, of course.
As a result of everyone's work, we are now present in more than 70 countries, offering more than 43 collections, boasting 300 products and equipping more than 1,000 interior design projects. And we have accomplished all this because in this company we care about people and talent. All this has led us to form part of the World Design Organization (WDO) under the guidance of our sales manager, Vicente Pons, who has been appointed a committee member for the city of Valencia.
This award encourages us to work harder and better, to continue being your reference in the manufacture and design of outdoor furniture.
