At POINT, sustainability is not just a goal, it is a path we walk with commitment and dedication, playing a fundamental role in our business strategy. For more than ten decades, this philosophy has persisted and been transmitted through four generations, shaping our mission to create quality products that respect the environment.

This sustainability policy is a solid and evolving commitment that leads us to assume our part of the responsibility and influence in mitigating climate change by actively acting to preserve the priceless natural resources that surround us. In every product we create, every decision we make, and every step we take, we reaffirm our determination to be sustainable and to build a better world for present and future generations.
The scope of our sustainability policy is focused on six key pillars that guide our commitment to a greener, more sustainable future:
Product Durability
Durability is at the heart of sustainability. We believe there is nothing more sustainable than a product that can last from generation to generation. Since 1920, we have been creating furniture that stands the test of time, using durable materials, expert craftsmanship and timeless design.
Sustainable Materials
In accordance with our philosophy of respect for the environment, we seek production solutions based on eco-design by committing ourselves to the use of sustainable materials in all our products. We have established an internal protocol, shared with all our designers, requiring them to use 100% recyclable materials in their designs.

* The wood is Grade A teak, sourced from sustainably managed forests and is FSC ® C188181 certified.

* Aluminum, a material that embraces our principles of durability, is highly resistant and 100% recyclable, which means a significant reduction in carbon emissions and less depletion of natural resources.

* We are investing in R&D to introduce fabrics, foams and fibers made from recycled components to further reduce our environmental impact. By 2024, we will expand our fabric portfolio to incorporate recycled references and recyclable materials. In addition, our upholstery is designed to be washable and reversible, extending its life and reducing the need for replacement.

Production Process & Clean Energy Generation
In 2003, we transformed our headquarters in Spain into a clean energy production center with a photovoltaic capacity of 282 KWH per year. This initiative resulted in significant CO2 savings equivalent to the average annual emissions of 50 cars. At Point, we are committed to continuing to invest in technologies that further reduce our carbon footprint and promote a sustainable approach in our value chain.
Certifications - Committed to Sustainable and Socially Responsible Practices
At Point, we are dedicated to achieving certifications that support our values and standards of excellence. Our ISO 9001 and FSC ® C188181 certifications are a strong testament to our commitment to sustainability and the well-being of the communities in which we operate. We work to ensure that our products are environmentally friendly, that our workplace is safe and healthy, and that our customers receive the highest quality products and services.  We are working towards ISO 14001 and ISO 14006 certification in 2023.
Responsible Packaging - Plastic Neutral
We have implemented a packaging protocol that prioritizes the use of cardboard over plastic, thus minimizing our impact on the environment. In addition, to offset the unavoidable use of plastic, we are collaborating with CleanHub to remove 2,000 kg of plastic from the Indonesian coast by 2023, contributing to the fight against marine pollution and the protection of our oceans. In this way, for every kg of plastic we use in our packaging, we commit to collect and remove an equal amount from the environment, while also helping to improve the lives of the coastal communities that work to collect it.
Committed Suppliers
Working with companies that share our sustainability values is critical and essential to us. We require all of them to have sustainability policies and waste management protocols. Whenever possible, we collaborate with local suppliers near our production plant in Spain to reduce our carbon footprint and strengthen local economies.
