The Ministry of Science and Innovation selected POINT for the National Design Award 2019 a number of months ago for its contribution, as a company, to improving society and quality of life for all.
Vicente Pons, POINT Sales Director, and member of the third generation of the founding family, collected the award from Queen Letizia last Friday. “The POINT story is a family story, not just of the Pons family, but of all the families that have worked in this house for 100 years: craftsmen and women, designers, salespersons... This award recognises the hard work of four generations and the more than two thousand workers who have formed a team - and family - with us. In our centenary year, it is also a tribute to work done well”, he stated.
The award ceremony at the Prince Felipe Science Museum in Valencia was presided over by the King and Queen and was attended by the Minister for Science and Innovation, Pedro Duque, the President of the Valencian Generalitat, Ximo Puig, and other dignitaries.
