Quality and environmental policy

POINT has established a Quality and Environmental Policy, whose highest priority is the preservation and protection of the environment, being fully aware of the depletion of natural resources and the climate change caused by human activity.

Each year, POINT conducts an environmental performance assessment, identifying and evaluating both direct and indirect aspects of its operations. In order to manage these aspects, environmental objectives are set.

One significant aspect is the generation of non-contaminated paper/cardboard and plastics resulting from the company’s activities. Their management may occur in different ways: by the client when unpacking the product, directly by the company itself, or through subcontractors. In addition, electricity consumption is continuous; to help reduce its impact, the company has two photovoltaic production units of 100 kW each.

In the supplier and subcontractor approval process, compliance with specific work guidelines and environmental requirements is required. Collaboration with local and national companies is prioritized in all cases, although in certain situations, due to quality requirements, international suppliers may also be engaged.

Another relevant aspect is fuel consumption and the resulting CO₂ emissions, generated both by commercial activities and by product distribution to customers. For this reason, POINT’s management plans to carry out the Carbon Footprint calculation in 2026.

Finally, POINT’s management will maintain this commitment and review it periodically, with the aim of ensuring it remains a living document and a firm commitment shared by all parties involved.
